Call Forwarding
Calls have to get to us somehow. Call forwarding is one of the methods for directing calls to the answering service.
Each account includes a unique call forwarding number. The number remains static unless you request an exchange. Toll-free numbers are available for an additional fee and per-minute rate. You can port the number at any time, but you will need to cover any fees charged by both our carrier and yours.
Activating and Deactivating Call Forwarding
Call forwarding is a feature offered by your phone company or your PBX provider.
The most commonly used option is to manually forward calls by picking up the phone and dialing *72 followed by the forwarding number. When you're ready to disable call forwarding, simply pick up the phone and dial *73.
For offices with a business phone system or cloud PBX, simply push the button to engage your call forwarding feature.
Alternatively, simply leave the forwarding number on your voicemail or share it with patients via the patient portal or patient paperwork for them to call directly.
